Spent one final day in Florence, knocking off all the left-over churches. The most spectacular of these was the Brancacci Chapel, decorated with a fresco cycle by Masolino, Masaccio and Lippi. It was Masaccio's revolutionary work here that helped kick the Renaissance into gear.Florence itself still a bit crap.
