The Pizz

Went to Brighton Sunday to shoot a promotional video for The Pizz, a music and sound production studio. We had a great time setting up lights and a dolly to get shots of one of their artists, Jo Morris. This was aso my first fully HD shoot :)

I wasn't allowed to take my camera in, so the only photo I have is the crowds exiting afterwards.

However, it was an awesome gig. An absolutely massive crowd (20,000 people), especially mind-boggling since he's playing a staggering 21 shows! Here's a sample video (shot from a similar nosebleed seat like we had):

Hayley Westenra and Dave Dobbyn (Shepherd's Bush Empire) 31/08/07

Had a good posse at "Hayley Westenra's Kiwi Ceili", a send-off gig for the All Blacks, with Anna and me, Jan, her brother and a friend. Didn't really know what to expect - there were a lot of older people in the audience, but we ended up having a great time. Hayley certainly does have a voice like an angel, but the good times really rolled when Dave took the stage.

Look what I found!

We have a terrific import bottle shop just up the road, and I found this little gem among all the fruity/lambic Europan beers. Someone email me whether the bottle has changed back home as well...
